Feel Good When You Eat, All The Time
There are many popular programs, we’ll dive into three: Noom, Weight Watchers, and Way. In our blog(s), we take an honest look at what the pros and cons of each are, so you can choose which of them is the best fit for your desired way of living and eating.

More About Competitors and Why Way Has None…
There are so many solutions and programs out there these days that say “stop dieting” (Noom). Others say that they are “based in psychology” (also, Noom). Still others tell you to “throw the scale away” (too many to count). And then, they end up turning into another color-code system (Noom), another “points” based system (Weight Watchers/WW), a food tracker, (too many to count) or even sometimes blatantly turn into rigid, restrictive diets and then measure your success by how much you weigh (wild!).
So, how is Way different?
At Way, we actually are different – we never ask you to count a calorie, never ask you to step on a scale, and we never tell you what to eat.
This is because Way is based on the Intuitive Eating framework – a collection of 10 Principles that start with rejecting the diet mentality (Intuitive Eating principle #1), make peace with food (Intuitive Eating principle #3), and to honor your health (Intuitive Eating principle #10). While Way simply translates the substance of Intuitive Eating into a more digestible, easily accessible format, we also combine Intuitive Eating principles with surgically socratic questions, moving within the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) framework.
And the central theme is Way isn’t “lose weight” or “look sexy”, it’s called the Peace Point. The Peace Point is focused on helping you find more joy in life, alignment with your values, and it’s based on what’s called a “Magic Wand” question that’s used in many therapies. The Magic Wand question is also used in addiction therapy and coupled with dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), to become even more powerful.
As a result, Way has helped more than 73% of our members notice change in the first week and 10,000+ people have started their journey of finding peace in their relationships with food and their body with Way.
The Takeaway on Competitors – Way Has None
When considering competitors, Way stands unique. We don’t demonize weight loss or body shaping desires. Our aim is to prevent Disordered Eating patterns or more severe Mental Health conditions like Eating Disorders. Restrictive diets have startlingly led 1/3 of people to develop Eating Disorders or Disordered Eating patterns. Additionally, 83% of restrictive diets fail, often leading to Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and Diabetes.
Clearly, Way stands apart from Noom’s Green-Yellow-Red system and WW’s Points system, which are essentially restrictive diets. Our goal is to heal your relationships with food and your body. We guide you to listen to your body’s signals and align your eating with your values. This approach fosters body safety and acceptance, free from external shame.
Interestingly, the original Greek word for diet is ‘diaita,’ meaning ‘way of living and eating.’ That’s what Way guides you towards: Your Peace Point. Your Way.
This is why Way really has no competitors – we’re a unique program complementing others in the space.
